Eco-Coral© artificial coral is designed to easily expand damaged reefs when a small amount of living reef is still available.
The technique is to lay basic restoration modules, shown below, in trails leading from the existing reef out to the area where expansion is desired which may be the rubble field left by blast fishing.
Each basic restoration module covers 5.74 square meters, 2.4m x 2.4m x 1.0m high and gives 57 square meters of area for colonization.

The trail layout will be decided by bottom terrain and can be used to create a snorkelling path .
