The Improved Fish Aggregation Device.

Close Window

When using artificial coral for reef restoration and reef rehabilitaion in badly damaged reefs it is often necessary to attract back fish populations to ensure a healthy reef. With coral restoration using artificial coral we need to have sufficient grazing fish to keep the algaes in balance. This may be assisted by installing the Improved Fish Aggregation Device from ArtificialCoral.org (designed by Technostrat Corporation)
The Improved Fish Agregation Device is designed to be installed under the surface anchored by the same anchor as the Anti-Trawling Device. Prior to deployment the Improved Fish Agregation Device folds flat for easy transportation. The central column of the device provides a safe refuge for juvenile fish being covered with a 1 inch solid pvc mesh.
When installed the top area opens up to cover 144 square feet, it can be installed by two divers. The Improved Fish Aggregation Device is recommended when areas of artificial coral are installed.

The ex-works 'free in container' price for 1 unit of Improved Fish Agregation Device is $US 933.00, typically these will be shipped with other devices.

Local destination charges, duties and taxes are to buyer's account.
Installation planning will be co-ordinated with the buyer and supervision may be requested at a per diem charge. Site surveys may be requested and the cost will be estimated. Prices subject to confirmation upon order due to exchange rate volatility.
